Model CE1blue has an integrated input coil, a feedback coil for flux in the SQUID, a feedback coil for compensation of the input current, and a heater. Input and feedback coil are inductively coupled to the SQUID.

The glassfiber reinforced plastic package has dimensions of 13×7.5×2 mm (L×W×H). On top are four pairs of solder terminals available with metal wire bond connections to the SQUID, the feedback coil, input coil, and to the heater resistor. This resistor allows an easy expelling of frozen flux in the SQUID loop and input circuit.
